12th grade student Madison, 11th grade student Sadie, and 10th grade student Truman, alongside mentor Lydia Zowada, a forester from Utah Department of Natural Resources, spent a snowy day in the La Sal Mountains learning how to collect forestry data, such as taking tree core samples.
